We've been making them for over a century. SUGGESTED USE:

Before first use, boil all parts for 3 minutes to sterilize and cool to room temperatures (at least 5 minutes).

After each use, wash all parts thoroughly in warm, soapy water. For best results and to avoid damage, clean with Evenflo bottle brushes. Rinse and dry thoroughly. Dishwasher safe (top rack only). May be cleaned in a steam sanitization bag. 

Squeeze nipple base and insert through the Top of the cap ring. Once lip is inside cap ring, expand the nipple and lightly push the inside lip towards the edge. Hand tighten cap ring with care to not over or under tighten. 

Prior to feeding, pinch the Proflo™ valve between two fingers to separate the sides to ensure proper venting. 

For best breast feeding results, ensure baby's lips are flared around the nipple base without being overstretched during use.

Evenflo Balance+ Nipples are designed for use with Balance+ Bottles only. The use of other Evenflo or competitor nipples is not advised as it could cause this bottle system to not function properly. 

To prevent injury, adult must be present during use. 

Discuss proper feeding with your doctor and dentist. 

Do not heat in microwave oven, which may heat unevenly. To avoid burns, always test temperature of liquids before feeding. 

Do not attempt to enlarge hole as this will cause tearing. Any tear in the nipple can lead to the separation of a piece, which could be a choking hazard. Inspect frequently and stop use if you see a tear or crack.
